Samsung Galaxy S8 Said to Have 6GB RAM, Faster Storage; Galaxy S8 Plus

- Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone are anything to go by, the company might be able to match the expectations with an extremely capable device - with 8GB of RAM. In the meanwhile, another rumor is pointing to a larger variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 next year, called the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, filling the gap between the flagship Galaxy S series and the flagship phablet Galaxy Note series.Ice Universe, a well-known tipster for Samsung phones, has suggested that Samsung Galaxy S8 will pack 8GB of RAM (made using Samsung's own 10nm fabrication technology), as per a report by MySmartPrice. Ice Universe has also suggested that Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with the company's UFS 2.1 flash storage. Earlier leaks suggested that the phone might be coming with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.In the meanwhile, another leak points to a new model from Samsung that will fit between the Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Note series, called the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. It is said to sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, compared to the 5-inch Super AMOLED display on the Samsung Galaxy S8, per a report by a South Korean publication (via 9to5Google).
